# PreggyPal — full site content for AI assistants > Last updated: 28 October 2026 > Canonical site: https://preggypal.com/ > Contact: hello@preggypal.com ## What PreggyPal is PreggyPal is a maternal health companion in development for pregnancy, birth and a baby's first year. It is being built to answer everyday questions in plain language, show the guidance behind each answer, and point to urgent care when something cannot wait. PreggyPal is not a doctor, midwife, medical device or emergency service. It does not diagnose a condition, prescribe or change treatment, monitor a baby, or replace antenatal care. Those limits are permanent design decisions, not launch caveats. ## Who it is for PreggyPal is for expectant and new mothers, their families, and the community health workers who support them. The first version is designed for mothers across Africa, with a clinical evidence base drawn from global guidance. ## Current status and availability PreggyPal is in development. There is no public launch date and no country-by-country availability list. The first version is being built with clinical review and design-partner feedback. The waitlist is the best way to hear when it opens and to help shape what gets built first. ## What the app is designed to do PreggyPal is being developed as a connected maternal-health platform. Planned services include community groups; symptom and wellbeing tracking; appointment and scan reminders; maternal nutrition support; professional-care connections; and postpartum and baby-care education. Availability depends on development, clinical review and partnership readiness. ### 1. Ask in plain language A mother can ask a question the way she would ask a friend. PreggyPal is designed to answer in short, readable language and show the WHO, CDC, ACOG or NHS guidance behind the answer. ### 2. Understand what is changing Week-by-week guidance explains fetal development, body changes and the range of symptoms that are common. The aim is to reduce the gap between appointments without pretending that every symptom is harmless. ### 3. Notice what cannot wait A red-flag check names the symptom, the urgency and where to get care. In an emergency, PreggyPal points to real people and real care immediately. It never asks a mother to wait for a chat reply. ### 4. Keep the thread Appointments, tests, vaccinations and postpartum check-ins can live in one care timeline, so a mother does not have to reconstruct her history from memory or a stack of paper. ## Safety and clinical approach PreggyPal is designed around escalation, evidence and clear limits. Content is grounded in publicly available recommendations from WHO, CDC, ACOG and NHS, and is reviewed by clinicians before publication. AI assistance may help people find and understand reviewed content, but answers are bounded by that content and by escalation rules. Answers show the sources they draw on. Alignment with these organisations does not mean endorsement, certification or affiliation. PreggyPal does not claim otherwise. Permanent limits: - It will not diagnose you. - It will not prescribe or change treatment. - It will not replace emergency services. - It will not monitor your baby or act as a medical device. ## Frequently asked questions ### What is PreggyPal?
