About PreggyPal

A maternal companion built from clinical science — and lived urgency.

PreggyPal is an independent maternal health project founded by Brilliant Cherop, an entrepreneur passionate about bridging the gaps in maternal healthcare.

Our Story

Maternal healthcare should not end when a mother leaves the clinic.

PreggyPal was born from a simple but painful truth: maternal healthcare should not end when a mother leaves the clinic.

Beyond hospital walls, mothers are left navigating symptoms, nutrition, appointments, and countless questions, often without the continuous support they need.

We envisioned a world where no mother has to navigate motherhood feeling alone or uninformed. PreggyPal exists to bridge that gap, offering guidance, connection, and support through every stage of motherhood because both mother and baby deserve care beyond the clinic.

Why PreggyPal Exists

Maternal care should not end at the clinic. PreggyPal bridges the gap with symptom tracking, appointment and scan reminders, nutrition guidance, and access to maternal health professionals, helping mothers feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout motherhood.

Our Mission

To bridge the gap between clinic visits and everyday motherhood by providing accessible health information, personalized guidance, and continuous support — helping every mother feel informed, empowered, and cared for at every stage of motherhood.

Our Vision

A world where every mother has access to continuous, reliable maternal healthcare and no mother has to navigate motherhood alone. We envision healthier mothers, thriving babies, and a future where care extends beyond the clinic.

Our Values

Compassion. Trust. Empowerment. Accessibility. We put mothers first, provide reliable health information, protect personal privacy, and make maternal health support more accessible. Every mother deserves dignity, understanding, and care throughout her motherhood journey.

It pairs clinician-reviewed guidance with AI assistance that is bounded by escalation rules: useful between appointments, never pretending to be a clinician.

Our Approach to Safety

Your wellbeing comes first.

At PreggyPal, your wellbeing comes first. Our health content is guided by trusted medical sources and reviewed by qualified professionals. While we provide health education, symptom tracking, and maternal support, we do not diagnose conditions or replace medical care. We encourage mothers to consult qualified healthcare professionals for personalized advice and seek urgent care when necessary.

What we believe

Principles we build by.

The product will change. These commitments should not.

Evidence before opinion

If a claim cannot be traced to good guidance, it does not go in the product.

Dignity by default

No scare tactics, no shame, no assumptions about a mother's family, body or choices.

Build with mothers

Design partners, community health workers and clinicians shape what gets built and what gets cut.

Safety over speed

A slower release is always preferable to guidance that could cause harm.

Where we are

A slow, deliberate build.

We are currently in the pre-launch phase of PreggyPal. We have been developing and refining the product, validating the concept and preparing the platform for launch and wider adoption. This stage is particularly important as we build the right partnerships and relationships before going to market.

Build this with us

The best maternal health products are built with mothers, not for them.

If you are a mother, clinician, researcher, community health worker or organisation serving women, there is a place for you in this work.
